| As soon as you walk into our designer showroom you become aware that we show all of the latest trends in design and information about countertops. We have joined numerous industry trade groups to insure that you, the customer, will benefit from all of the latest trends as well as having peace of mind that your countertops will be fabricated properly using the latest equipment and procedures. Our purpose and goal is to deliver and install in your home, a carefully designed, functional highly crafted work of art. This also pertains to the engineered stone and solid surface countertop products and installations. All countertop installations are not equal, even if it was the same exact product that was installed. For example, our seam requirements are stricter than the normal. (Let me be clear on this though, granite and engineered stone seams will always be able to be seen and you may feel them with your fingernail). They should not be wide, chipped up, and full of filler. We take the time to fit the seams on site to make them as tight and inconspicuous as possible. All of our granite and engineered stone installers started out as fabricators and all have the skills needed to do very tight seams. OUR QUALITY IS UNSURPASSED! | We started American Countertop Fabricators on April 1, 2002 in Missouri City, Texas with the sole purpose of fabricating and installing custom countertops in the metropolitan Houston, Texas market. I had been in the business since 1993 and worked for two other leading countertop fabricators and I had become disillusioned with the declining quality and the increasing prices, I felt that I could do better by returning to the basics of customer service and employing cutting edge fabrication techniques. My vision was to be the absolute best countertop company in the area. It was not to be the biggest, but to be the absolute best. Along with all of my past business and woodworking experience, we have hired the very best craftsmen in the entire area and together, we have set the highest quality standards in the industry and follow them religiously. We absolutely will not sacrifice quality for profit. We were fortunate to be able to quit advertising five years ago and live on referrals and word of mouth advertising. We only have a free yellow page listing as well as this web site which we have done ourselves. Customer satisfaction is our best form of advertising. We have a large 2,100 square foot showroom as part of our large, 10,800 SQ FT shop in northwest Houston, where we fabricate all of our countertops with our own employees. We also have 24 program colors of granite in bundles, inside our existing showroom, which we sell by exact square foot. Just over the last six years, we have invested over $300,000.00 in machinery and tooling to fabricate all of our own granite and engineered stone countertops. Prior to that, we employed outside fabricators, just like almost every other granite countertop dealer does. We had some good ones and some bad ones, but they all had one thing in common, if a problem arose, they were totally unresponsive, and left us holding the proverbial bag. The quality of the work that comes out of our shop, is something that we are all proud of and we proudly display it in our large showroom adjacent to our fabrication facility at 1500 Brittmoore in the "Town & Country" - Memorial area. Quality is our most important product. We have a wealth of experience the fact that our management staff and fabrication specialists each have an average of fifteen years experience in the industry. We serve the entire metropolitan Houston market and we are dedicated to quality and on time installations, each and every time. |
